Who We Are

It all started in 2017, by the acquisition of Villa Alzira by the current owners.

A few months after the acquisition, the dream was totally destroyed by the fires that devastated the central region in October 2017. Despite everything, the dream continued and, the couple did not give up and decided to move forward with the reconstruction of the project and, today, the enterprise is part of a strong reference in tourism in the Serra da Estrela.

André, a native of Sandomil, and Cátia, a native of a neighboring village, passionate about nature and delighted with the project, continued to work on the dream and, at this moment, Villa Alzira already has a total of 3 apartments, 6 suites, 1 restaurant and 1 outdoor hot tub next to the surrounding lawn.

Soon, and with a view to continuous improvement, the couple acquired 33 hectares of forest surrounding the tourist project located in the middle of the natural park of Serra da Estrela, where they will develop new spaces. This is what they call the project of a lifetime that will be in constant development. Their ambition is to make the central region, especially the municipality of Seia and the village of Sandomil, known to all nature lovers.
